Calculator Investigation

7. This is the process a calculator goes through to calculate the radical of a number (in this case, x). It goes through the process as many times as necessary until it gets a repeated answer (e.g. No 5 4, 5 and 6). That would be the answer to the radical. 

8. you need to change the denominator to the radical number. 
For example, this is the square root of 11. I used the equation 1/2(Ans+11/Ans) 
    
    x = 3
    1 = 3.33333333
    2 = 3.31666666
    3 = 3.31662479
    4 = 3.31662479

The square root of 3 = 1.732050808

9. Square root of K = 1/2(x+k/x) is the same as x= t=the square root of k 

10. change the 1/2 to 1/3 or 1/4 depending if it is a square root (1/2) , cubed root (1/3)...
