Ellen Pompeo is a famous American actor known for her part in Grey's Anatomy, where she plays the lead, Meredith Grey. She began acting professionally in New York in the mid 1990s where she first appeared on television on the show Law and Order in 1996 and 2000. There is no mention of any previous acting education.
From then, her career grew. She obtained a role in the hit comedy Old School in 2003 and then got several other minor roles in films such as Moonlight Mile and Catch me if you Can. However, she really became famous when the show Greys Anatomy launched in 2005 and she was casted as the main character, Meredith Grey, an intern in a prestige hospital. Since then, she has become one of the most famous actresses in America and and was nominated for many prices such as the Golden Globes and People's Choice Awards, which she won 2 times.
Ellen Pompeo should be an inspiration to all actors for her incredible acting and her success as a woman in the TV industry. An advice that she doesn't tell but that is clear to me is to believe in your character and to believe that you are that character, no matter what happens.
